Road Map to Ending Torture
THE JOURNEY TO JUSTICE TOUR IS COMING TO LANSING!

Join Citizens For Prison Reform and Unlock the Box for a day of art, empowerment, and collective action to end solitary confinement in Michigan and beyond!

Day 2 Events – Thursday 10/16
An all-day Stop Solitary Festival/Rally at the State Capitol and on the lawn in Lansing. The bus will be parked prominently in front of the Capitol building, serving as a central visual. The event will feature a solitary cell installation, spoken word poetry performances, and a formal gathering. Throughout the day, the bus may move around the Capitol square and drive by the Senate building at strategic times, such as before or after legislative sessions.


Location: Michigan State Capitol East Walks and Steps 100 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI 48933

For the Michigan events the bus will be a central hub of activity and visibility. It will serve as a gathering point for calls to action and a space for spontaneous art making and community building around the campaign.
