Book Show & Tell
Sunday, September 21st
11 AM - 1 PM
Remember the joy of sharing your favorite things with the class during show and tell? We’re bringing that feeling back—with a grown-up twist.
Join us for a cozy morning of stories, snacks, and bookish community. Here’s how it works:
Bring 2 books you can’t stop talking about (one main pick + one backup).
Show & Tell: Share a little about why these books matter to you with your new friends.
Book Bingo: Snatch up your own custom made bingo card and future reading log. As people share, mark off your squares and win!
Prizes: Bingo winners score prizes including free pizza! Yes, just like those grade-school reading challenges.
We’ll have coffee, tea, and snacks to keep the conversation flowing. Doors open at 11am and the Show & Tell starts at 11:30am. Come ready to be childlike, to share meaningful reads, and to enjoy community with fellow book lovers.
Ticket cost: $15 suggested donation/$5 minimum
This event is inspired by the day dreams and imaginations of 3 friends that love books and love community. We understand that dreaming is not a path that is often rewarded by capitalism. If you want to see more events like this one, you’re encouraged to be generous with your donations. Help us cover the cost of the space, time, and joyful experience created with someone like you in mind.
The first 25 people who register are guaranteed space on our Show & Tell stage. Space is limited. Register now.
Co-hosted by Oprah Jrenal, Dylan Rogers (proprietor), and Tashmica Torok, the friendly neighborhood librarian of the Healing Justice Lending Library.
Access: Masks are recommended to mimimize the risk of contracting or spreading Covid. An air filter will be in use. The Robin Theater is ADA compliant. Due to budget constraints, ASL interpretation is not available for this event. For questions about accommodations + access needs, send an email to
