Calling All Lower-Voice Singers! Do You…
* Enjoy singing choral music?
* Possess basic singing and/or music reading skills?
* Have a singing voice in a lower-part voice range?
If so, LanSINGout might be for you! We're holding open auditions for interested singers for our 2026 spring concerts.
LanSINGout invites you to be part of the musical fun. Auditions are open to all persons, regardless of gender or sexual identity, who can sing in one or more of the traditional lower-part voice ranges known as 1st Tenor, 2nd Tenor, Baritone, and Bass.
Auditions consist of:
* The potential member presenting 16–24 bars of a prepared music number. Please bring sheet music for our accompanist if not singing a cappella.
* Verifying the potential member’s vocal range.
* A chat about the potential member’s musical and choral experience.
If you sang with us prior to the June 2024 concert (and not after), you do not need to audition, but will need to attend for range testing/vocal placement.
Weekly rehearsals begin on Tuesday, January 20th from 7PM to 9PM and continue at the same time and location until the concert in June. The spring concerts will take place in June 2026 (dates TBA).
