The Jaydogs return to the Taproom at Bayview Corner while on retreat on Whidbey Island. You will probably get a few new tunes out of this gig, as we will be working on new material all week.
The Jaydogs are inspired by 50+ years of the best in Rock, Blues, Country, and Folk music, all of which can be heard resonating in our original songs. In addition to original music, our live sets include our interpretations of the Beatles, Buffalo Springfield, Bob Dylan, Steve Winwood, Grateful Dead, Metallica (yep, Metallica on a mandolin), Pink Floyd, the Traveling Wilburys, and more.
The Jaydogs have played recent gigs at Pier 62 on the Seattle Waterfront, St. Andrews Pub, Jellyfish Brewing Company, Perihelion Brewery, The Shanghai Room, El Quetzal, and more, and are regulars at Northwest Folklife Festival since 2019.
The Jaydogs are Jay Hollingsworth; Conga and vocals, Doug Bowes; Guitar, Harmonica and vocals, Kieran Phelan; Mandolin and Cajón, and Ray Freeman; Bass and Electronic Horn.
