Witton Women Chanting - October 2025

Our next chanting get-together is on Sunday 12th October. We meet at the Miners' Institute hall in Langley Park, starting at 10:30. All welcome to join our lovely, friendly group of women.

Witton Women chanting group meets on the first or second Sunday of each month. We share chants and mantra from a variety of different cultural traditions. No musical experience is needed and no expertise in singing. There are no complicated tunes or words to learn, no 'good' or 'bad' voices, no pressure to perform. It's joyful, uplifting and heart-warming.

Starts at 10:30, finish at 12:00. You may like to bring water to drink, also percussion instruments such as a frame drum, rattle or shakers to add rhythm to our chants. Tea and biscuits are provided at the end of the session but please bring your own mug.
Pay on the door: £10, or pay as you can afford.
