You see them plastered on Heathen memes and tattoos! “Viking Sigils” are really everywhere!
Vegvisirs, Helms of Awe, the works! But did you know that they are not from the Viking/Iron age at all?
They are actually from the 12th to 14th centuries from Iceland and they are called Galdrastafir.
Join RavenRissy in her Icelandic Galdrastafir Sigil Magic workshop, where we will go over what these sigils are, how they differ from magic staves and how to create and activate your own personal Sigils.
You will come out of this workshop with your own creation that you can take with you or add to your altar spaces. All the materials will be provided, except
please bring with you:
- A pencil not pen
- notebook/journal/book of shadows
- An intention for your sigil
- Your voice
Order of events:
- A brief explanation of what Galdrastafir are
- Making and creating your own sigil
- Group ritual
