Food Canning Information Session

Food canning preserves food by sealing it in airtight containers (jars or cans) and heating it to destroy spoilage-causing microorganisms, creating a vacuum seal for long-term, shelf-stable storage.

Yolanda has very generously offered to share her expertise and experience of food canning, using the the water bath technique demonstrating best practice process and hacks.
She will advise equipment to use, what each food requires with time and recipes!!

Definitely one to bring your notebooks to!

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available for gold coin donation.

Please arrive for prompt start time.
We can also go across the road afterwards for lunch!
