You will make your own soap from raw materials using an immersion blender, oils, lye, botanicals, and essential oils. You'll take home about 25 ounces of soap - the equivalent of 5 full size 310 Soap Co bars.
For safety, please wear long pants and closed toed shoes, as we will be working with lye.
You will learn about:
- the challenges some essential oils and additives create in soapmaking
- soap making safety and chemistry
- what makes a skincare product natural
- best practices on applying decoration to soap tops
