Justice Choir Lancaster

LiFT is hosting Lancaster’s chapter of a Justice Choir, which joins together singers whose hearts are beating with compassion and love for all members of our community. Our songs are from the Justice Songbook, published online in 2017. Rehearsals will begin with two per month and then meet when necessary to keep us fresh. We will sing whenever and wherever it seems appropriate to do so, including at Lancaster events, in parks, downtown, at the jail, the courthouse, simply wherever we can provide a peaceful presence.

Our goal is to sustain a group of musicians who follow principles of non-engagement and non-violence and whose only mission is to hold firmly to our freedoms. We will sing when there is strife; we will sing when there is peace. We are guided by inner desires to be present as whole and loving people.
