Juneteenth Commemoration Service & Vigil

Join us on Thursday, June 19th at 6:30 PM at the Bulfinch Meetinghouse in Lancaster with Rev. Wil and Sedie Maruska for a Juneteenth commemoration service and vigil featuring readings of historic firsthand accounts interspersed with prayer and candlelighting. While this day marks the anniversary of a much deserved celebration, our country is in a state of conflict regarding the very civil rights which exemplify this moment. Against the backdrop of celebrations occurring elsewhere, our service will be a reverent and prayerful expression of our desire for an end to the conflict surrounding what should be an unarguable and inherent equality of all people.
