Help Me Help You! A Drop-In Class by Brian

About the Class: Support moves can make your teammates look like rock stars when done right. This workshop will help you harness the power of listening to create better opportunities for walkons, tagouts and cut tos. Learn how to bring just what a scene needs at just the right time.

Drop-In Classes Signup Policy: Drop-in classes are "pay what you will" with a recommended donation of $15. You must sign up prior to 7pm on the Thursday before the class. In this case, 10/23 by 7pm. We may extend the sale AFTER that time if we have enough signed up to run the class, so don't wait to sign up! You must signup on Eventbrite! If you show up without signing up on Eventbrite, you will be asked to sign up at the door or will be turned away!

About the teacher: Brian Shea (he/him) discovered improv in 2015 and has gone full speed ahead ever since. He joined LIP in 2022 and performs with Peach Soda and the LIP Touring Company. A co-founder of Highwire Improv, he also performs regularly in the Baltimore area with Teen Angst, Important Screws, Whatever This Is and other special projects. Brian loves to explore the possibilities improv can offer each performer. He has never met a tag run he didn’t love and knows way too many random facts about R.E.M.

Parking: There is street parking around the theater on Prince St, King St, and Vine St, which is not metered after 6pm and not metered Sundays! The parking garages are open. Steinman Garage, Prince St Garage, and Duke St Garage are recommended in that order! On the weekends the garage is $5 for the whole day!
