The best of local music - live at the Ware Center!
A night celebrating local music features two local award-winning groups: singer-songwriter pop duo DANDY, whose music evokes the nostalgia of listening to your very first album as a kid; and Corty Byron, a longtime fixture of the local music scene in Lancaster, whose Americana roots-driven sound is vintage, bluesy, soul-drenched, and authentic. Byron will perform with his band, “The Light."
Taking place in the stunning glass pyramid-topped Atrium of the Ware Center, the “Lancaster Loves” series features the best in local music across a variety of genres in a lively cabaret setting.
Singer-songwriter/pop duo DANDY, made up of Harrisburg natives Cory and Jordan Dandy, won the Central Pennsylvania Music Award for “Best Album/EP of the Year” in 2023 for their third EP, Eden. Dandy also walked away with the CPMA for “Best Pop Artist/Band” that same year.
Corty Byron, a longtime fixture of the local music scene in Lancaster, started playing live shows in his teens. In March 2025, he received the “Best Blues Artist Of The Year” award from the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards.
