Orchard Care & Road Grading

Join Mercer County Horticulturist Justine Gray in the Visitor Center for a 45-minute presentation on home orcharding. Learn which varieties perform well in our growing zone, and proper pruning technique to keep trees healthy and productive, before venturing outside for some hands-on experience with Howell Farm's own apple trees!

Horse-Drawn Road Grading

Farmers will also be out filling potholes and resurfacing the lane using a horse-drawn road grader!
