Since August 2019, Samii and Jarod have been trying to start their own family. Unfortunately this has proven to be quite difficult, due in part to a diagnosis of PCOS, as well as other fertility related issues. Through multiple doctors, clinics, and specialists, they have sought a remedy for these obstacles. Multiple different strategies have proven unsuccessful, such as hormone therapy and IUI (intrauterine insemination). After all 7 IUI procedures have failed, Samii and Jarod have decided to step up to the highest success treatment available, IVF (in vitro fertilization). This decision wasn't made easily, due to the increase in emotional stress, the social compromise, and ultimately the financial strain. From missing days at work, the constant 4 hour trips to the Phoenix area, and of course the high cost of IVF itself.
IVF treatment can cost $12,500-$30,000, almost all of which is not covered by any type of insurance. Statistically, 6.7 million U.S. couples face infertility, only a fraction (380,000) pursued IVF in 2022, suggesting that a significant portion of the remaining ~6.3 million couples may not seek IVF due to financial barriers. Even though IVF has a very high percentage of success it is still not 100%.
We're hoping to ease this burden by inviting their friends and family, and everyone that has been able to enjoy a family of their own to a fundraiser.

There will also be raffles going on for the proceeds to go to the loving couple for their journey to bring a bundle of joy into this world!
