Electric Lounge

The Electric Lounge is our bi-monthly gathering for EV owners and enthusiasts. Whether you are a seasoned owner, a newbie or considering going electric, this will be an opportunity to hang out and learn from each other, as well as stay informed about Drive Electric RVA's outreach and advocacy activities. We'll also invite a guest speaker to share something interesting about transportation electrification.

This month's guest speaker is Garrett Gee, a senior attorney at the Southern Environmental Law Center. Gee leads SELC's transportation electrification work in Virginia. He will provide an overview of EV-related bills that are currently in the pipeline for the 2026 General Assembly. Don't miss this presentation if you are interested in getting involved in the policies that shape EV adoption in the Commonwealth.

Join us in-person in the backroom of The Answer Brewpub. Come early at 5:30 PM to show off your electric vehicle and see other cool rides on display and talk to their owners. Stay for the conversation and enjoy the craft beers and Vietnamese-inspired cuisine starting at 6 PM.
