The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work

Leader. Jeffrey Brooks (age-66) is a retired Army Chaplain and Florida Board-licensed Mental Health Counselor, offering this marriage enrichment group at no cost to those who attend. However, each couple will need to purchase the Seven Principles—Couples Set from the Gottmans Institute ($49 plus tax & shipping postage).

This group will meet weekly, for approximately three months, to work through the content of Dr. John Gottman's book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Each session will include a quick discussion to reflect on key ideas and private time for each couple to complete workbook exercises together.

Note. This is an educational group, not psychotherapy or a substitute for marital therapy.
