Layne Lyre is an industrial, Post-punk/rock project from Tampa Bay, they are a callback and modernization of the distinctive approach alternative formed from the late 80s through the 90s. Drawing inspiration from bands like Ministry, My Life With the Thrill K*ll Kult, Sisters of Mercy, Type O Negative, Nine Inch Nails and their contemporaries. Layne Lyre finds a balance between the rawness and grit of 90s rock and the poise and precision of electronic music.
