🍂 Fall Harvest Festival PLUS War of 1812 Commemoration ⚔️
Join us at Historic Hancock’s Resolution on October 12, 2025, for a day filled with history, hands-on activities, and fall festivities!

✨ Activities Include:
🌽 Shell & Grind Corn – Experience traditional farming techniques.
🪵 Woodcarvers – Watch skilled artisans at work.
🎃 Build a Scarecrow & Make a Corn Husk Doll – Fun for all ages!
💜 Make-It, Take-It Lavender Sachets – Craft a fragrant keepsake.

📜 War of 1812 Tribute:

🌍 Northern Arundel Cultural Preservation Society (NACPS) – Learn about African Americans during the War of 1812 and their contributions at Hancock’s Resolution.

⚔️ Ship’s Company Militia Muster – Witness historical reenactments, including cannon demonstrations!
⛵ Remembering the “Lion of Baltimore” – The American schooner burned in Bodkin Creek just weeks before the Battle of Baltimore.

🧶 Chesapeake Fiber Crafters – Discover wool spinning, knitting, and Viking knotted cord making! Demonstrators will showcase various fiber arts and sell handcrafted wares.
