Adirondack Roundtable - Trade & Tourism in The Park

NCPR and WAMC present a special live discussion from 10am to noon on Monday, September 8. Broadcasting from Lake Placid, hosts from both stations and their guests will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the Adirondack Park from cross-border trade and tourism with Canada, as tariffs and a trade war have caused tensions on both sides. They’ll also dig into the demographic and livelihood challenges facing Adirondackers, from an aging population to a workforce struggling to find affordable housing.
