Special Author Presentation featuring Melissa Slager

Please join us on Sunday, September 7 at 2pm for a special author presentation featuring Melissa Slager. Author Melissa Slager discusses her historical novel Contests of Strength and reads excerpts. The presentation, accompanied by a slideshow, discusses Northwest Coast whaling culture and the Cascadia subduction zone earthquake and tsunami of January 1700. There will be time for Q&A, followed by book sales and signings.

Melissa Slager is a writer and journalist. She lives with her family in Everett, Washington.

This free program is supported by the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library and will be held at Lake Oswego Public Library.
