Join us for a day of construction and fun at the Dental Construction Crawl! This in-person event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The bus tour will start and stop at Beso Bar & Bottle in downtown Lake Oswego, and includes an optional social hour at the end with snacks and drinks for those interested in keeping the conversation going!

This is a wonderful opportunity tailored for associate dentists who are interested in opening their first clinic. Our knowledgeable experts will be able to answer all your questions and help prepare you for when you're ready to take the leap!

We encourage you to bring your spouse, business partner, associate colleague, or office manager! We want this event to be educational, fun, and engaging!

Financing

Matt Muller, VP of Dental Financing at Bank of America Practice Solutions will walk you through the basic fundamentals of financing a dental build, whether you are an associate dentist looking to build your first practice or an established doctor looking to grow. Topics covered will include timelines / sequence of planning and applying for financing, project budgets and practice cashflow, as well as the importance of loan structure and details beyond interest rate.

Equipment

Providing understanding of lease space requirements, dental office design, equipment education and project management are essential ingredients to a successful outcome. Trent Crollard, Equipment Specialist of 24 years, will help illustrate the maturity and responsibility that a dental project requires. Whether it is focused time on your current practice and production or necessary time with your family, you will better understand the road map to have balance in both.

Practice Management

As you plan and get ready to open your new practice location, you have to start thinking about getting patients in the door early on, way before project completion. Michael Dinsio, MBA, practice consultant, will discuss approaching the marketplace and attracting those new patients. How to get the biggest bang for your buck! And the marketing mentality. Another critical aspect of starting a new office is staffing. You should be ready to have systems in place for employees, hiring and setting them up for success. Michael will cover these 2 major topics in his discussion.

Construction
