Sewing Machine Maintenance

Learn how to maintain your sewing machine for less than the cost of one trip to a shop. This is a hands-on class, you bring your sewing machine to be guided through cleaning and oiling it and adjusting it for best performance. You will also learn about thread, needles and bobbins and how they affect your sewing results.
This class is suitable for all levels of sewing expertise. It will be of most use to owners of non-computerized machines, but computerized machines are welcome. No sergers at this time. Bring a working sewing machine and everything needed to run it (power cord, foot pedal, etc). Fresh needles, thread, and test fabric will be provided, along with sewing machine oil and tools. Repairs of broken components are outside of the scope of this class, however the instructor will assist with these if time permits.
Cancellation Policy: No refunds. If you purchase a ticket and cannot attend, you may designate a person to attend in your place.
This is an in-person, instructor-led class held at Canterbury Location 2359 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion.
