Join us for a Recon and Training Day Saturday, February 28th! We will meet at the parking lot at Paint Creek Trail and Dutton Road. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude around noon. During this time, we will learn to identify log jams that obstruct the river, examine areas of bank erosion to understand their causes, and view a man-made rock dam and discuss it’s implications. Lastly, we will review how the new bridge on Dutton Road benefits the river due to its proper sizing. Hot drinks and donuts will be provided for training and scouting. Please dress appropriately for the weather and register!
