Mountain Strings Ukulele Retreat

Join us for an enriching Ukulele Retreat, Sept. 11-14, with the talented Stu Fuchs. Stu is not just a lifelong musician; he is also an award-winning teaching artist who has shared his love of music and mindfulness across the globe. His “Ukulele Zen” workshops and retreats are a beautiful blend of mindful practices and playful, holistic music instruction, perfect for musicians of all levels.

Fuchs also will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Memorial Chapel. Admission is $25. Registration and lodging packages for the retreat are available.

Stu’s passion for bringing healing through music has touched the lives of many. He was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for his work bringing healing music to cancer patients. His artistry extends to performing with symphony orchestras and touring with renowned sacred chant artist Snatam Kaur, contributing to her Grammy-nominated album “Beloved.”
