Geneva Lake Storytellers

Black Point Estate and the Geneva Tap House are collaborating on a new winter series called Geneva Lake Storytellers. “This program was designed to help us build community, especially during the cold, dark and often dreary winter months” said Dave Desimone, the director of Black Pont Estate and Gardens.

Twice a month between December and March, the series will be held at the Geneva Tap House. Three or four community members will share a personal story at each session.

The December 4th session will feature:

Rita Moore: "When the Ghost is Watching"
Sonja Hughes Akright: "Why That"
Dave Desimone: "Other People's Thanksgivng"

This is about getting to know your neighbors one story at a time and in person. “We are really over digital connections and feel there is no better way to build community than through sharing stories in person” Desimone stated. The program is from 6-8PM with storytelling from 6:30 – 7:30PM.
