Monthly Buckthorn Removal Day

Our community partners, including the City of Lake Elmo and Stantec, have taken care of a lot of heavy lifting getting rid of buckthorn in the park, but we need volunteer help to get at certain places where the big machines can't access.

Every second Saturday we welcome community volunteers to help us address those problem areas. We have tools and gloves, you just need to bring water and snacks and a desire to rid Sunfish Lake Park of buckthorn!
