Full Moon New Years Hike

Begin 2026 with a peaceful 3-mile hike beneath the glow of the first full moon of the year. Wander the winter trails around Eagle Point Lake on uneven terrain. Breathe in the crisp night air, and reflect on the year ahead as you welcome the new year with wonder.

The planned route is a 3-mile hike on uneven terrain, which may include muddy or icy sections. The trail is not lit, so please bring a headlamp or flashlight and dress appropriately for the conditions.

This is a free program with vehicle permit ($7/ daily & $30/ annual). Meet at the Eagle Point Trailhead.
