Join me at Rainbow Raccoon Ranch for a magical, autumn painting experience! Together, we’ll create a stunning highland cow painting—while surrounded by the peaceful presence of real highland cows grazing just nearby. It’s a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in art and nature.
I’ll provide everything you need to bring your creativity to life. Plus, to keep you cozy and energized as you work, enjoy warm, freshly brewed coffee and delicious homemade baked goodies.
No prior experience is necessary.

Expect the class to take 2.5 to 3 hours.
Reserve your spot, invite a friend or two along, and let’s create some beautiful memories and wonderful artwork together at Rainbow Raccoon Ranch. Feel free to bring along any beverage you prefer and bring any snacks you’d like to enjoy while painting. In the past, guests have brought lovely charcuterie plates, snack mixes, and even cookies; whether it’s just for you or to share with the group is totally up to you (though I recommend keeping it cozy just within your circle).
Mid-October weather in Iowa can be unpredictable. So wear layers and maybe bring a blanket if you suspect you’ll get chilly. In case of a light rain or wind, the event will be moved into the shed near the cows. If we catch a bout of severe weather, the event will either be moved to a new location or rescheduled.
This event is designed for adults. Children aged 8 and older are welcome to participate if accompanied by a paying adult. All guests must have purchased a spot to participate. Please make childcare arrangements for any children under the age of 8.
