The beginning of the year can often feel demanding. We’re met with expectations for something new, something better, something different to happen. Long lists of goals and resolutions arrive, as if, with the strike of midnight, we should suddenly become entirely new versions of ourselves and have it all figured out.
But what if instead of rushing, we simply paused?
What if we gave ourselves permission to slow down, to breathe, to honor the year that has passed, and to fully acknowledge the many journeys that have shaped the person we are today?
Nature, in its infinite wisdom, reminds us that this is still a time for hibernation, introspection, and rest. Yet even in stillness, new life is quietly being formed below the surface, patiently preparing to emerge.
During this retreat, you will be offered the time and space to nourish yourself, to slow down, and to reflect on your journey. You will be invited to enter the year gracefully, with awareness and gratitude, inhabiting and honoring each moment fully, remembering that all is sacred and an essential part of your journey.
We will create space for closure, leaving behind what no longer serves us. We will empty our cup, make ourselves available, and set intentions for the year ahead ~ not rigidly, but with openness to life’s surprises and the unexpected gifts waiting to meet us along the way.
We will take it moment by moment, one step at a time, one breath at a time..
