Below is updated information regarding this Saturday's Serve Day schedule:
On Saturday, October 4th, Pastor Sarah and the wonderful people from Citizen Church in Lahaina will be sponsoring a Serve Day on our campus to assist us in preparing for our return.
Here’s the updated schedule for the day:
* Worship Gathering at Citizen Church – We will meet at 7:30 AM at Citizen Church (4275 Hine Way, Lahaina, HI 96761) for a brief worship service featuring a couple of worship songs and prayers. Breakfast tacos will be served after the worship service. We will then head over to the Lahaina UMC Campus.
* Volunteer Work on Campus – After worship, we will assemble at the Lahaina UMC campus at 8:30 AM to begin painting and other chores to create a refreshed and welcoming space.
* Brunch – At 10:00 AM, brunch will be provided by Slappy Cakes.
* Bible Study – Following brunch, we’ll gather with Scott and Tania Hanson from the Maui Rescue Mission, along with many of our friends who are experiencing homelessness, for a meaningful time of fellowship and study in God’s Word.
You are warmly invited to join in at any point of the day! Whether you’d like to help with painting and cleaning, or simply come to enjoy the company and fellowship, your presence will make this day even more special.
