Youth Concert including LSYO and String Ensemble

The LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra (LSYO) and String Ensemble will present their fall concert together on November 11th at 7:00 PM in Callaway Auditorium, LaGrange, GA. Both of these groups are a part of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra's multi-faceted series of youth programs. The LSYO is conducted by Dr. Richard Prior, and the String Ensemble is conducted by Sam Lee.
Everyone is welcome, and admission is free. So, please support our young students and see for yourself what our youth groups are all about.
Both the LSYO and the String Ensemble are programs that provide orchestra performance opportunities for young people. The groups are education-based for group playing and all the skills required for appearing on a public stage. This Fall concert is the first performance experience for this school year.
The String Ensemble is made up of children 5-13 years of age while the LSYO is made up of older and more seasoned musicians.
