*Creative Industry Group Partners with GUCCAD, AAHHF for Diaspora Homecoming Tour*
The Creative Industry Group (CIG) is collaborating with the Global United Christians Congress of Africa and the Diaspora (GUCCAD) to bring the Diaspora Homecoming Tour to Nigeria. This landmark event aims to reconnect descendants of Africa from the Caribbean and Americas with their roots while exploring investment opportunities in Nigeria.
*Event Highlights*
- *Welcome Concert*: Featuring 18 artists from Jamaica and the Caribbean, and 6 from West Africa, on October 10th at Freedom Park, Lagos Island
- *Business Summit*: Scheduled for October 20th, focusing on investment opportunities and economic growth
Over 300 Africans in the diaspora are expected to participate in this 14-day event, touring Lagos and Calabar, and showcasing Nigeria's vibrant artistic and heritage landscape. The CIG will handle logistics, including transportation, hospitality, security, and cultural experiences, while facilitating media coverage and connections with stakeholders in Nigeria's entertainment and creative sectors ¹ ².
