Join us for the Back-to-School Bash, a high-energy celebration in the 2025 Travis County Running Kids Race Series at scenic Pace Bend Park. This USATF-sanctioned event features age-appropriate road courses designed specifically for young runners ages 2-12. Each participant receives a completion ribbon and earns points toward their series completion medal.
Our parent-coach system ensures safety and support throughout the event, with clearly marked routes featuring beautiful lake views. Wave starts begin at 3:30 PM, with check-in opening at 3:00 PM.
Participants should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable running shoes (no metal cleats). We recommend sun protection, a change of clothes, and a small towel. Don't forget your camera to capture back-to-school memories. Parent or guardian presence is required throughout the event. Park entry is included in registration fee.
The event runs rain or shine, unless severe weather threatens participant safety. With a participant limit, early registration is encouraged. Located at 2805 Pace Bend Road North, Spicewood, TX 78669, Pace Bend Park provides the perfect setting for young runners to kick off the school year while building confidence and athletic skills.
