Join us in celebrating our growth!
We are happy to announce that the Chinese Catholic Community of the Diocese of Lafayette with the permission of Bishop Deshotel will begin celebrating bilingual Holy Mass (Mandarin-English) once a month!
God willing, we will begin on Sunday, 5 October 2025.
Handouts in Mandarin Characters, Pinyin (Mandarin in letter form), and English will be provided.
Holy Masses will take place each 1st Sunday at 1:30pm at:
St. Edmond Catholic Church
4131 West Congress, Lafayette, La 70506
After Holy Mass, we will have a simple social with finger foods in the family center to visit and grow as a family

We also currently have an OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) class going in Mandarin-English at a separate location. Please let us know if you or someone else is interested in knowing more about or joining the Holy Catholic Faith.
We are so grateful for St. Edmond's welcome of our community into their family and thank Our Lady of Fatima for their hospitality the last couple of years!
