Public Art Mural Dedication

The General de Lafayette DAR Chapter and the America/Indiana 250 Committee for Tippecanoe County are pleased to announce a public art project by Artist Zach Curtis in honor of the America 250 and Lafayette 200 commemorative events.

The murals will be painted on the west side of the building located at 707 Main Street and hosted by the property owners, Shane and Adrienne Albregts. The art project will feature three national legacy figures who became an important part of the city’s history with past visits. This project was made possible due to the generosity of the City of Lafayette, the Tippecanoe County Commissioners, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Join us at 707 on Wednesday 10/22 at 3 PM for a dedication ceremony featuring DAR representatives as well as Mayor Tony Roswarski. Don't miss the reveal of Lafayette's brand new historic mural in Downtown Lafayette.
