Pink Picnic

Lafayette’s Parks, Arts, Recreation & Culture (PARC) Department invites the public to join in a community celebration at the Pink Picnic with PARC, recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Girard Park Pavilion (500 Girard Park Drive, Lafayette, LA).

The Pink Picnic is not only an outdoor gathering, but also a moment to honor survivors, raise awareness, and support those impacted by breast cancer. Community members of all ages are encouraged to wear pink, bring their favorite picnic snacks, and enjoy food, dancing, and wellness resourced in a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere.

This event is free and open to the public. Families, friends, and community members are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and their best dance moves for an afternoon of connection and celebration.
