Night/Light

Sphere presents Night/Light featuring the transcendent “Verklarte Nacht” (Transfigured Night) by Arnold Schoenberg. Other works will play with the space between twilight and morning, and our poetic and literal night light- the moon. Hear Sphere’s original string ensemble arrangements of Amy Beach’s “Dreaming,” Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” and Chiquinha Gonzaga’s “Lua Branca.” Music for the dark, the dreams, the stars, and the shadows.
