New World Symphony

Enjoy a powerful conclusion to our season, featuring an unforgettable evening of passion, virtuosity, and hope. Carlos Simon's Fate Now Conquers opens the evening, anchored by Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, – a sweeping tribute to the American landscape, rich with spiritual echoes and folk-inspired themes. Written during the composer’s time in the United States, this symphony reflects both longing and discovery, making it a perfect finale to a season of musical exploration. For this concert, ASO will be joined on stage by acclaimed violin virtuoso, Melissa White, who’ll perform Mendelssohn’s beloved Violin Concerto.
