Starting September 10th, we’ll be spotlighting the incredible work of local artists in our store. Each featured artist will have their collection on display for six weeks, giving you plenty of time to discover and shop their unique pieces.
Join us on each artist’s showcase kickoff day for a special opportunity to meet the creator behind the work, hear their story, and celebrate their art while enjoying complimentary champagne and hor d'oevres. We can’t wait to bring more local talent into the spotlight—and into your homes.
We are are honored to kick off this event featuring local artist, Lue Svendson, on Wednesday, September 10th!
Louisiana native, Lue Svendson, is a painter and a landscape architect. Her work in paint and nature exist worldwide.
Since she was a young girl, she has had a natural ability in drawing using pencil, charcoal and watercolor.
In 1975 she graduated from LSU with a degree in Landscape Architecture and has combined her love of art and nature for almost fifty years.
Lue paints what she knows best- the woods and the prairies of South Louisiana.
