Something spooky is happening at Hope Chapel Guest House!
Every Thursday and Sunday in October we will be hosting two different tours to satisfy both the history buff and the paranormal enthusiast at Lafayette’s oldest standing church, Hope Chapel! Read on to learn more:
Starting Thursday, October 2nd and every Thursday and Sunday thereafter in October you can catch one of two unique and exciting tours - the first tour is a a 60 min tour covering the unusual history and preservation of the historic church, originally built in 1844 and still standing today. Learn more about the history, see the strange collection of antiques and macabre memorabilia of the current owner’s and hear first hand accounts of strange activity in the old church with an optional 15 min EMF session. This tour is intended for persons 12 and up with an adult.
Our second tour of the evening kicks off at 8pm and is a 90 min haunted history and paranormal investigation tour that will explore the unusual past of Hope Chapel and the strange artifacts that fill it now - the tour ends with a 30 min lights out session with EMF detectors and other investigation tools allowing tour guests to experience the activity of Hope Chapel First hand!

Guests must be comfortable navigating stairs in low light, be sound of mind and body, not intoxicated or otherwise belligerent, guests must sign a safety waiver upon entry to the church. no refunds.
