Join us for an interactive mushroom cultivation workshop with Acadiana Myco! π±π
This month, weβll dive into grain transfers and inoculation techniques:
β’ Grain transfers into substrate
β’ Inoculating sterilized grain jars with agar
β’ Hands-on practice with oyster mushroom cultures
π Weβll have 19 sterilized grain jars and several varieties of myceliated oyster mushrooms on plates ready to go.
π² $25 donation (if youβd like to start your own project) includes:
β’ Inoculation of a quart jar with oyster mushroom mycelium
β’ Guidance from experienced members
β’ The chance to bring your jar home, let it colonize, and return next month to continue the process
β’ A delicious harvest of oyster mushrooms at the end! π½οΈ
β¨ Families & kids welcome β growing is optional.
β¨ New members encouraged β no experience required!
