2025 All Souls' Day Mass & Burial of the Unclaimed

The Diocese of Lafayette invites you to All Souls' Day Mass on November 2, 2025. Please contact your local parish for Mass times, or join us at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette. During this Mass, men, women, and children from Lafayette Parish who have died over the past year, and whose bodies have gone unclaimed, will be laid to rest. This Corporal Work of Mercy is the result of a partnership between St. John’s Cathedral and Catholic Charities of Acadiana. The Mass honors the dignity of human life, acknowledging that no one is ever forgotten in Christ. The public is invited to attend.
