*NEW Build A Clay Birdhouse (2 Days)

Join us for a beginner-friendly ceramics workshop where creativity takes flight! In this hands-on class, you'll learn foundational clay techniques to design and build sculptural yet functional birdhouses. Using simple hand-building methods, we’ll explore form, texture, and design.

In the first session (Sept 10), participants will hand-build their own unique birdhouse using slabs of clay. You'll learn basic construction techniques, how to join pieces securely, and how to incorporate texture and decorative elements.

The second session (Sept 17) will focus on glazing—for this project we will use iron wash technique. Participants will have a finished, kiln-fired ceramic whimsical and weather-friendly birdhouse within 2 weeks of the last session.

All materials, glazes and firings included.
