Academy of leaders Spring 2026

Academy of Leaders (AOL) is FIU’s premier leadership development program. It’s a semester-long experience that includes educational seminars, experiential learning, and real-world application. For Spring 2026, the program will begin with a three-day retreat from Febuary 6th –8th, followed by three additional sessions throughout the semester. Participants will explore their unique leadership style and give back through a group community service project.

Below you will find the retreat and on-campus session information. These dates are mandatory and will allow for you to successfully graduate from the program. The deadline for payment is Friday, January 23th, 2026, by 5pm. This includes all students who are on payment plans as well. There are no refunds for cancellations made after Tuesday, January 27th, 2026.

Academy of Leaders Retreat Day – Feb. 6th- 8th

Please make sure to check your class schedule and personal schedule to make sure you can make ALL the follow up on campus sessions. Follow Up On-Campus Sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm on the following dates:

• Session #1:Wednesday, Feb 11 th 6:00pm-8:00pm
• Session #2: Wednesday, Feb 18th, 6:00pm-8:00pm
• Session #3: Wednesday, March 4th, 6:00pm-8:00pm
• Closing Session: Wednesday, March 11th , 6:00pm-8:00pm

Deadline to submit the following application is Friday January 23rd, 2026 by 11:59pm.


Please make sure to look at ALL the dates and make sure you can attend all of them. Check your class schedule, involvement schedule etc. Attendance at the retreat and on-campus sessions is mandatory to participate and graduate from the program.
