Every year in October, the City of La Verkin holds their Annual Halloween Decoration Contest & Witch Hunt!
Houses are adorn with lights, fog machines and creepy music! Every house that participates has a chance of winning a prize!
This is when the Witch Hunt ensues!
Witch Hazel roams the streets of LaVerkin on one night only! This year the witch hunt is on October 20th from 7-9pm. She will be flying to the winners houses to drop off their winnings, if you are able to catch her she'll owe you a bag of treats from her cauldron!
6 winning houses and their addresses will be posted the weekend before the event. You can find Witch Hazel at any one of these houses for a short period of time on the event night.
A few things to know:
*Witch Hazel does not speak
*She may fly off to the next house before you get a treat, in this case, she escaped you and you must find her again!
*She loves to have her picture taken
*She may give older children sass and attitude but it's all in fun!
