USC Thornton Chamber Singers

The St. James Music Series welcomes the USC Thornton Chamber Singers, one of the nation’s leading university choral ensembles, for an afternoon of compelling and expertly crafted choral music.

Drawn from the top vocal students at the USC Thornton School of Music, the Chamber Singers are known for their refined sound, stylistic range, and thoughtful programming. Under the direction of Cristian Grases, the ensemble performs repertoire spanning early music to contemporary works, shaped by a global perspective and a deep commitment to expressive clarity.

Their performances have taken them to major festivals and concert halls across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. This La Jolla appearance offers a rare opportunity to hear the ensemble up close in the resonant acoustic of St. James by-the-Sea.
