Christmas Eve Traditional Candlelight Worship

This season finds us in a liminal space between what has been and what is yet to come. It can feel easier to hold back than to say yes. Even our small yeses—to give, to trust, to hope—carry more weight in uncertain times.

Yet, we are part of a long and faithful story. Generation after generation, ordinary people have said yes to God’s extraordinary call. Their courage made way for God’s unfolding work in the world.

In Advent, that same invitation reaches out to us again. What does it take to say yes today? Why does it matter? This story of faithful yeses is not only written in Scripture, it lives in us and calls to us to be still, urging us to listen, to trust, and to say yes to what God is doing now.
