Every person, regardless of how they communicate, deserves full access to the joy, community, and spiritual life of the church. All voices—spoken, signed, typed, or shown—can be lifted in worship to God.
Join us for a hands on workshop designed to support churches in the creation of a truly welcoming worship environment for all. This training focuses on understanding and supporting verbal and nonverbal communication, and hearing challenges in our ministry spaces.
What You’ll Learn:
*How to support worshippers who are nonverbal or have disabilities related to communication
*Ways to incorporate assistive technology and AAC tools into church life
*Strategies for making prayer, singing, teaching, and fellowship accessible to all
*Practical tools and resources to help everyone participate fully in worship
Lunch provided.
