P.U.K.E. (Pedaling Up the Kickapoo Epic)

Hey friends,
We are going to be heading out to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve on Sunday, October 25th for the 115th annual P.U.K.E. (Pedaling Up the Kickapoo Epic) ride. This is a big ol' group ride with no race tape and no timing equipment. We will be meeting at the Rockton Bar at 8:45 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. We will head south for a couple hours in the morning at 9 a.m. and return to the bar around noon for lunch. We will head back out for an eastern and northern ride at 1 p.m. So Join us at 9 for riding, or noon for vittles, or 1 for afternoon riding. The Reserve closes their trails on November 15th, so this is will be our last "dirt" adventure out there. If you haven't ridden at KVR, here's some things to know. It's BIG (8600 acres big with 40+ miles to ride) so bring gear including a light in case we rage extra long. There are bailouts everywhere, so bring anybody. There's a bar, so bring money. And there is a user fee, and you can pay right at the bar with your cell phone of all things (unless you already have a pass).
The weather is October in Wisconsin, so it's gonna be crisply awesome and won't get better so there's no excuse. See you there.
