UWL Honor Orchestra & Symphony Orchestra

Conducted by Dr. Martin I. Gaines, featuring the High School Honor Orchestra: a new initiative to bring together talented young musicians from across the region to rehearse, learn, and perform on campus alongside UWL students and faculty.

This performance is part of the Violins of Hope - Wisconsin and will feature "Elegy" by David Avshalomov, a tribute to lives lost in the Holocaust. Several instruments from the Violins of Hope collection will be on display at this concert.

The orchestras play in a side-by-side concert on Saturday, October 18 at 5pm in the Bluffs Ballroom of the Student Union at UWL. This concert is free and open to the public. More info: https://www.uwlax.edu/calendar/?e=32520
